Texas women have always had incredible style. Matching their personalities, their clothing is always bold and colorful, and our next interviewee is nothing less. Jamie Chandlee, the CEO of shopping site Rank & Style, has some of the best taste we’ve seen, so it’s no surprise that she head up one of the most innovative shopping experiences out there. Below, Khaki Wennstrom interviews Jamie about her site, and gives us a glimpse into her chic lifestyle.

It’s the perfect time of year to enjoy brunch on one of Austin's best patios followed by some serious shopping for must-haves of the new season. Recently, after enjoying a post-yoga bite at Hillside Farmacy, I stumbled upon two of my new favorite boutiques in Austin. Filled with interesting finds and unique collections, Olive and Take Heart join our three other must-hit shops for April.
The organic revolution has wrapped its preservative-free fingers around nearly every facet of commercialism. But like so many other trends in Austin, this lifestyle was a vital part of the fiber of this city long before the mainstream dubbed it “the next big thing.”Accordingly, Austin’s Wildflower Organics was one of the pioneers of organic living in Austin.
If you don’t want to experience the luxurious feel of super soft, high-end, life-changing bedding, don’t walk into Wildflower Organics. Gunnar Hedman—who with his wife, Cori, opened in 1994 the store that would become almost an Austin institution—notices that visitors to the store can’t resist putting their hands on the products. “People are always touching the stuff,” he says.
Only the strongest of will can resist running their palms along the bedding and pillows at this store, which has sold simple, organic products made from natural materials long before “going green” was cool. The upscale store along a busy section of Lamar Boulevard carries about five core lines of bedding. Linens from Legna and Bella Notte get the most hand traffic and rank as the most high-end.
Your ultimate cheat sheet.
